Yah, im an independent contract painter, so my work is manual labor, but its just carrying paint buckets around and climbing up ladders so its not that hard on the body.

I tried office work some years ago, and I literally just walked out of the office one day and didn't come back. I can't sit at a desk lol

Right on man. I'm entirely trapped by the pay, I can't give that shit up for the life of me. Not having to use a time clock is also pretty sweet, but holy shit very sedentary. Very boring. "Robots go brrr".

Yah the golden handcuffs.

For better or for worse I worked as a contractor ever since I graduated highschool. Even through college. I never committed to an office job so my resume is pretty blank in that regard.

If I switched to a normal job I’d take a pay cut at this point so, kinda the opposite lol.
