So, I don't think I can just explore #progstr without asking where to start with #yestr (Yes) and Rick Wakeman (?). This album below seems to be mentioned a lot, but any recommendations welcomed. Ta.

That's a good start. I saw them play twice. There's some great music on that album. How about some King Crimson?

I've been listening to King Crimson. I keep going back to Heldon, but definitely want to explore more. Soft Machine are dope too. There's so bloody much cool stuff. (Think I'm just making the most obvious stuff, but it's all new to me lol).

Yeah there's loads of great stuff there mate. It's another tripadelic rabbit hole.

"The Yes Album" has a lot of the same epic qualities but more digestible songs.

Fragile has some more "out there" kinds of tunes but overall just great.

These three are chronologically part of the "holy trinity" in their catalog IMO.

90125 also very good but a pivot into a new decade (extremely interesting stuff).
