thanks for sharing nostr:npub1wmr34t36fy03m8hvgl96zl3znndyzyaqhwmwdtshwmtkg03fetaqhjg240. This is good stuff. I've followed Yoel for a while and he openly discloses gov't suppression worldwide - hence i was surprise why twitter file was a shock. Coming from a country that can put you in prison for speaking up against the gov't,I'm appreciative of twitter under nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m. >70% twitter users were global so it must have not been an easy feat being guardians of the people. I cannot imagine the amount of threat Jack received and still does. But I can understand why he kept saying twitter should not have been a company, and why protocol based is so important - can't take sides, for or against. Also, wasn't Modi and gang pissed at Jack for openly sharing about India's threats recently? And denied it ?

I don’t know nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m’s motivations but my guess is that he was stuck between a rock and a hard place. If he suspended Trump then shareholders would revolt and remove him as CEO. If kept him then users are upset, but he’d be able to keep running twitter and not have it taken over by hedge funds and activist investors.

Once January 6th happened, a bunch of other sites started suspending Trump and the decision much easier. I don not envy anyone who had to balance those interests.

i wonder though what would have been the impact if Trump stayed - I don't think it would have been just upset users - I think twitter and Jack would be hailed through a public criminal lawsuit and Jack will still be removed one way or another - because gov't be it left or right wants someone they can control and Jack wasn't somoene they could control. I remember the intensity of the moment that that time and a lot of criminal legal terms were used. As much as the Right were pissed, the Left were equally intense. America's biggest challenge these days is that its people are too polarized. Also that was during lockdown / easing up phase, stress was multiplied - everything was a trigger factor

“ Jack wasn't somoene they could control”. Omg i laughed so hard. It’s like you musta been on a different Twitter during the covid scam. 🤪

users would be upset if Trump was allowed to stay ?

you're smoking some good shit.

removing Trump killed Twitter.

i understand you hate Nazis, i would too if i was gay, but what you're saying isn't based in reality.

the logic nostr:nprofile1qqsgydql3q4ka27d9wnlrmus4tvkrnc8ftc4h8h5fgyln54gl0a7dgspz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3samnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wddhkcmrfv3jhytnc09aqzxrhwden5te0wajkccm0d4jjumn0wd68ytnhd9hx2cfkckq used isn't mysterious at all. keeping Trump was the right choice. but the ZOG made it known that THEY are in charge and forced Jack to leave Twitter.

only a person with purple hair could fail to see something so obvious.
