Ordered a new GIGABYTE motherboard and it’s on the way. Staying away from ASUS for the time being, and hoping that I’ve correctly identified the problem here and that this is the last step to having this thing up and running. This has been a deeply frustrating project so far 😂

Shout to @utxo for the troubleshoot assist and recommendation 🫡

Nice that you have started To post on Rumble. Please continue!

Any advice to plebs that want to follow you with building their own machines? Or is the frustration a package deal with going custom?

I've built many machines over time and it's very uncommon to see issues like this.

Am still leaning to it being faulty RAM.

Is ASUS that bad - just curious 😅😁

You tried testing the memory modules individually?

Man, that’s tough. I recently bought a pre-made machine. Not the highest end, but hadn’t had a desktop in over 10 years. Thought about building myself for a bit too, but glad I didn’t. Have yet to run my first local AI

Let us know how it works out.

I've been using Gigabyte Mobos and GPUs for years. Never had an issue (touch wood).
