With retirement age being 67 by 2029 this means that the average German man gets to enjoy his retirement for approximately 10 years. So why do we pay into pension and social security for ~50 years?

Another consideration is that based on these numbers, women disproportionately are given 44% more benefit than men on average based on time.
100%
good question
i pay about 18% retirement per month
i would rather buy bitcoin with it
My mum worked 50 years, always pays her dues and right now she doesn't even have money in the third week of the month. Absolutely ridiculous. If people in their 20's or early 30's think that they'll still cash in on their pension they're delusional.
its sad, if i dont get something out, why i am paying it anyway. we just pay for a broken system. which will fail sooner or later...
free healthcare: recent birth of grandson, said complications @ hospital ended up with 1/4 mil bill approx to be paid by taxpayer, baby is fine & was just monitored for a few days
Because we’re in it together TM
