If the SBR is established why would governments around the world want to buy treasuries? The creation of the SBR basically tells the world US bonds are worthless. Am I missing something here?

They are already dumping US debt. Tether will keep buying, and the US will continue extracting the inflation tax on the world for awhile longer.

What incentive does Tether have to keep buying though? Treasury bonds are an inferior asset. When BTC moons why waste time buying bonds?

To “back” the slave tokens. The interest from the bonds makes them the most profitable company per employee. I think it’s 20-50M in profit per employee. Their actual treasury (profits) is BTC
