Let’s think from first principles here.
What, in your opinion, is the root cause of the problems in this region? Why do you think there are wars and death all around the Middle East, outside of Israel?
Maybe Islam is the unifying factor in whole those cases?
Maybe, weird as it may sound, Islamic fundamentalism is the source issue in this case too and not the liberal western country?
Who’s bombing churches and killing Christians in Palestine? It’s not the Muslims…
Now say the same sentence about the US in WW2. Just stating kill counts doesn’t necessarily tell you who’s the aggressor and who’s seeking peace.
Context matters - which society has democratic institutions, freedom of speech, western values? Where would you rather live if you need to choose a country in the Middle East? Why do you think it is?

I don’t have a 100% developed opinion on it, as I’m still working through it myself. But I do know that the government lies about EVERYTHING and I don’t think the WWII story is an exception. Hitler didn’t kill 6 million Jews, the Russians played a bigger role in defeating the nazis than we did and they don’t get credit for that, nuking Japan was absolutely unnecessary, and at the end of the war we handed over Eastern Europe to Stalin. That’s a start. I don’t have the knowledge or time to line this all out for you, The information is out there if you want to do the work.

What does it mean nuking Japan was unnecessary? How do you know that? It was big factor in ending the war. How can you declare so confidently it wasn’t necessary?
