I don’t deal too much with timber these days. I primarily deal in foundations and SOE. And with that tend to be a bit more conservative.
I’d lean to cut that moment down and I’d want another load path if it were my house/structure.
What would you change?
I'll show you my system when it's done. None of this can be done anyways. The floors would come through the porch roof at that elevation and the floor below would be absolutely fucked. No cut out for the stairwell or elevator. It's all just nonsense. What we call "lines on a page"
