If you can set parameters like clicking on a note or looking at a note for more than 5 sec or commenting on a note and then it would trigger an auto zap but normal click zaping should still be possible too
Non au zap automatique, bien vrai que je souhaite Zapper en termes de contributions mais nullement qu'il soit obligatoire. Si vous persistez dans cette voie vous nous mènerez à du *payant* pour tous sur nostr sur les plateformes (un système plus que capitaliste mais pour qui sur le long terme). Dans cette nouvelle ère de décentralisation des plateformes, vous courez le risque de perdre les valeurs auxquelles certains notriches ont sauté le pas. Trop sceptique sur cette approche
Content is never cost free. Even small "tweets" should have a price. Either that or you are the product in the long run.
We are just too used to being the product. So we think free is good.
Je comprends bien votre propos et en informe à titre de préventive tout public cependant nous avons tous la possibilité d'accepter ou non d'être un produit ou un consommateur, tout dépend de ce que l'on juge nécessaire, vital, indispensable surtout en fonction de la situation de chaque individu.. pour l'instant me concernant j'en suis toujours en phase d'observation/analyses de certaines interactions, participative sur certaines thématiques sur cette plateforme, n'ai d'ailleurs pas encore finalisé mon adhésion complètement pour participer aux Zappes qui peuvent aidant dans certaines situations. Toutefois certains paramètres et biais peuvent toujours être mis en place pour qu'aucun individu ne devienne produit sans pourtant vendre ses données

I was personally thinking that you could have a similar concept to the “Super Follow” of the other bird app, and subscribe to each individual user for ‘extra content’
But at the same time, that would mean paywalling content on Nostr, which I am not a fan of

and i still like the idea of auto-splitting an proportion of the sats you zap to client devs.. nostrmarket in mind here
but idk if this is the right way to tackle "if it's free, you're the product".. need to find a well balanced optimum somewhere in the zap structure

Mixed feelings. I could see something like that working really well for specialized areas of discussion like academia, skilled hobby, etc.. but broadly I can't imagine it taking off at the social level. It actually sounds like it could be a separate little ecosystem. Or a tool for self-treatment of screen addiction. As always though, if it's voluntary💁♀️ Would be cool if it was easy to toggle on & off user side.
