ava is a monero

how sad that she believes that snowden's convenient continuing freedom and hipster leftist news sites like to parade him around, and i suppose that makes sense since she also thinks that mozilla is protecting freedom even though they don't allow you to disable their DRM plugin completely, no really, what the fuck is that?

sorry, cybersecks girl but chan analysis cannot be certain about what is payment and what is change and it is trivial to make it even harder, some wallets actually do this automatically

monero is a tradeoff thot pushes this easy obfuscation into a complex scheme of encryption that prevents 100% certainty of supply auditing, and i don't give a fuck, come at me moneros, i still don't have all your npubs in my mute list yet, i'm sure

I agree with you. I think privacy wasn't Satoshi's highest priority when designing the protocol, he had enough challenges at that time and trade-offs to make. Now ist the time to improve privacy and there are several efforts to deal with it. Lightning, Ecash, ZK proofs, silent payments, payjoins and some others are examples. It is a matter of time, I think in the long term we won't need something like Monero.

from a cryptography perspective, UTXOs are private, because they are not account model, which is NOT private

monero uses UTXOs as well, but they are obfuscated and the obfuscation weakens their security, IMO - against inflation

anyone who doesn't realise that inflation was a non-negotiable aspect of bitcoin's design due to Satoshi's adherence to the Misesian principles of monetary economics is not just a fake cypherpunk they are illiterate and have not actually read any significant documentation about how bitcoin came to be designed the way it is

Exactly!
