Something is chewing up the leaves on my Lima beans. I tried the soapy water method but no luck. Any ideas?

Whatever it is may have natural predators who will solve the problem for you. This happens in to our plants with aphids, and a couple weeks later ladybugs arrive and eat ‘em! 🐞

Looks like leaf cutter bee! Probably not a problem for your beans. Good bug to have around.

That looks like caterpillar damage to me. Handpicking or neem oil are my go to methods.

I thought caterpillars too but haven’t seen a single one. They are sneaky

I had a sneaky tobacco hornworm take almost an entire tomato plant before I found him. They are very sneaky. They tuck under the leaves and where the stems leave the main stalk.

Neem oil. Mix with water and spray on

Wood vinegar in water then spray it. About a TBS to the gallon.
