There definitely seems to be a better class of folks on Nostr for some reason. I agree, I like it too much better than any other. I still have to use FB because everybody i know is afraid and unwilling to even try anything but. I go to Twitter hardly ever anymore since finding Nostr.
Why I'm bullish on #nostr ...
I'm on #nostr a whole lot more than I ever was on Twitter or Mastodon for two simple reasons ... the Vibe and the Tribe ... and now I'm staying here because of network effect ... I have more friends here and I like more people here than on other networks

Personally, I think the vibe and the tribe of eBay made it the success it is
The fundamental question is how do you get the vibe going? For me, it was discovering #nostr and #bitcoin and how much Papa nostr:nprofile1qqsr7acdvhf6we9fch94qwhpy0nza36e3tgrtkpku25ppuu80f69kfqpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qghwaehxw309aex2mrp0yhxummnw3ezucnpdejz7qg4waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t09ug4n6q3 helped with that. Then, I kept asking question upon question and incredibly patient folks like nostr:nprofile1qqstwf6d9r37nqalwgxmfd9p9gclt3l0yc3jp5zuyhkfqjy6extz3jcpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qgmwaehxw309aex2mrp0yhxyunfva58gcn0d36zumn9wshszxmhwden5te0wfjkccte9ehx7um5wfcxcetzwvhxxmmd9u5ehdyr were always there.
The success of any network is a very human thing ... vibe and tribe
