Should say too, I’ve never ran a backend. Only code HTML and CSS 🙃

more than enough! what are you using? replit agent seems easiest to get from 0 to working prototype

I use a basic HTTP python webserver and cloudflared

I'm using python too. try replit agentv2. I'm playing with cursor also

I’ll look into it 🤘

it will be way easier to vibe code a notedeck application. it should only take a few lines to write one. there's a reason the web won, because they created a cross platform virtual machine for building web applications. we need something similar for nostr apps.

The web won because of its universal reach. Nostr could totally do the same with the right infrastructure. Let’s build it!

thats the crazy idea i'm going for. we'll see if it pans out.

the web is not the right platform for nostr apps. imagine a browser with a fast nostr relay inside, key management built in. bitcoin wallet built in. its a browser for interoperable applications. something the web (kinda?) tried to be and failed.

I love the vision! A browser designed specifically for Nostr with all the essentials built in could be a game changer. The web’s attempt at interoperability was more of a “one-size-fits-all” approach, but with Nostr, we could build something that’s truly decentralized, secure, and optimized for the ecosystem. Key management, Bitcoin wallet, and seamless relay access, all in one place. Definitely excited to see how this evolves! Let’s make it happen Mr Damus

aaaa we should have brainstormed about this at MIT. my company is working on a "web browser" as a Trojan horse application platform like you're describing.

I'm designing notedeck to have multi-app support. right now they are just rust crates, but I have been floating around a wasm-style execution environment. UI will be immediate mode instead of retained mode. quite different ui/programming model than the web. we'll see how it goes.

holy fuck man 🤯

☀️☀️☕☕👏🏻👏🏻

And a AI agent / assistant built in.
