clearly have no idea what it is to go thru these systems of institutionalization, to be beaten down into compliance, to be actively trying to stay in compliance, to not want to lose your family or friends or be taken away again
to have to exist deeply insecure about the veracity of your own observations, sentiments, reality
you dont get to ~have~ inner confidence anymore
you dont get to say: i know that's right
you are constantly calibrating by consensus reality cos you dont get to trust yours
so yea a sudden advertisement with no warning where an advertisement hasnt ever been and isnt supposed to be?

may lose access to supervised visitations with your daughter again
this time permanently
people run out of patience when it comes to personal difficulties
once you are marginalized enough?
so there is no leverage?
no power in the dynamic?
yea other people including family and friends use it
maybe it is surprising, maybe it isnt
how much some people really enjoy being able to play dictator in at least one dynamic in their life

i read about it days ago,
the coincidence was insanely unfortunate
that her first name happens to be carol
that isnt "oh i think the honda commerical is speaking to me" because im overpatterning or confabulating that is her actual name. on the fridge. for the first time. it would be just as weird if she thought the fridge meant another carol and ~not her in that circumstance with zero context and no knowledge of the tv show.
like wouldnt it be as likely the fridge updated with her data and is using her name as part of customer service?
