There are these anchorage fields out in the North Sea along the TSS German Bight/ Terschelling West where tankers and cargo ships wait for their slot. This is possible because the water is no deeper than 30 meter.

On the island of Terschelling you can find remainders of the whaling past (whale jaw bones at house entrance).

Luckily, no attacks during the three months at sea. The rudder on my boat is harder to attack as it is not free-standing and it is made of steel ()

Yes, in fact, I have finished my sailing season for 2023 after three wonderful months - I now need to take care of other projects (upgrading my lightning node is one of them)
