Do you know what the date is today?

Today is the anniversary of the Tiananmen square massacre.

Take a moment to watch this video.

Dictators hope that if they make us afraid to speak the truth for long enough... we'll forget it.

And the next generation will never learn.

This is how history is erased.

The Chinese did everything right at the time. It allowed them to preserve their country and become the world's leading economy. Of course, the West would have preferred to see them fragmented and weak, mired in internal strife and conflict — like the Russians.

What happened in China was morally indefensible oppression.

Students that stood up for the truth and basic freedoms paid with their lives.

Their memories should be celebrated. Not the government that chose to perpetuate violence instead of dialogue.

"Freedom" and "truth" where?! In the EU? Maybe in Canada? Or in the USA? Take the USAID dick out of your mouth already. They’re not paying you anymore.

Yeah, you can still say these things somewhat openly in the EU and US. Maybe not for long, but that doesn’t make the wrong thing right. Or are you a communist?

RT is blocked both in the EU and the US.

Doesn’t change what I said.

It’s quite sad you can’t see China’s internal strife and conflict in those interviews. If they say the wrong thing, they could be locked up in a cage and tortured. “Everything right” gfy

In editing, you cut out 100 Chinese people who voiced opinions unpopular in the West, 50 who simply didn’t want to offend foreigners, and leave only the crazies who think they’re fighting the system and pretend to be afraid.

Another video of slop for some Cannes festival is ready. Time to get a grant from Western foundations and blow it on hookers.

Let’s not forget about Tibet with its high-speed trains, and the Uyghurs who are being forced to study and work instead of reading religious nonsense and blowing themselves up.

You’re one jaded bootlicker
