I feel kinda lucky actually. It’s like my special little education course. I wouldn’t have really been interested in learning on twitter because the bitcoin influencer types give me weird vibes.
You guys are a dedicated bunch. I am rooting for you. I just don’t say much about bitcoin because what could I possibly add to the conversation? But I am rooting for you nonetheless.

im glad i learned about bitcoin in the early days before the influencer phenomenon hit full swing. it was super fringe, with fewer people seeking expert status. if im super honest, im not sure i would be as enthusiastic about it if i learned about it today.
If I would have been around early it would have been 100% my thing. I like the edge. I’m still down with it but I really like it when I see the bite.

I’ve been a web developer for 20+years, looking since 2020 for a “sovereignty respecting” platform on which to build social media apps for libertarians.
Nostr is it. The only one. And the people here also happen to be awesome. And then BOOM … WTF there’s Bitcoin being awesome as well… for the same reasons that I’m here in the first place.

Stay curious, keep reading and listening and buying a little BTC. If you remain interested and curious you will continue to go down the rabbit hole until you become fully convinced.
Bitcoin is important, but good relationships are considerably more valuable. Nostr definitely bridges them together.
