I would have skipped the cream cheese and just did the Parmesan and a little heavy cream... Maybe a little fresh parsley.....Loved the bacon addition 👌

I was afraid of using heavy cream, since sauces with it can turn not so easily digestible for the supper. So this was my first experience with using cream cheese as sauce thickener and it turned out great!
