Steps how to receive sats ⚡️ to custom #BOLT12 address with your own domain via #Phoenix Wallet:

1. Download the latest version of Phoenix Wallet and copy your BOLT12 offer by selecting “Show reusable QR Code”. Starts like this ➡️ lno1z..

2. Next, add a TXT record to your domain.

In my case it was Namecheap:

- In the Dashboard, select your domain and click “Manage”

- Go to the “Domain” section and find “Advanced DNS”

3. Phoenix enforcing DNSSEC.

In “Advanced DNS” tab click on DNSSEC toggle to enable it (FYI not all of the registrars support it). Click “Generate DS record”, save the changes.

4. Click “Add new record” and choose type TXT Record.

For the HOST:

.user._bitcoin-payment

And for the VALUE:

bitcoin:?lno=

This will create the address @.com

And what about phoenixd? At this point maybe better to use it since it also integrates bolt12 and you dont need to rely on your phone and google

Yeah someone brought attention this to my attention but for normies probably easier will be the wallet set up. Also you can run it on GrapheneOS, and hopefully they will figure out the other way how to wake up the app

So this won't work if my wallet isn't open?

Yea agree, but you know normies thinks that DNS means Dans No Sir or something similar xD in any case i hope Phoenix can solve its dependence of google services

lol

Yeah we shall see, if not then there is still other options

Any registrar recommendations that support DNSSEC? The ones I use seem to lack support. Does namecheap support DNSSEC and generating a DS record?

AFAIK DNSSEC is enforced by the BIP-353 spec not just a phoenix thing.

So its another kyc then. GREAT BREAK THROUGHT !

You can use Phoenix default one or buy one with bitcoin none KYC

Is phonix relay informations to some surveillance country service in exchange of those fiat, to buy more Btc ?

so nope, it still kyc is you pass through a third party especially a secret service funded company.

Things need to be learn.
