yeah, my first attempt was halloween edition in 95 and then in 99 i was running red hat 5.1 with kde (1, i think)

Mine was Red Hat in 1998 and then Suse in 2001, I think. Test systems.

Pretty cool, I'm a mac user since 2008, but I'm also thinking about chaging my desktop setup from Mac Mini to a Linux machine.
