Apparently it doesn’t matter if it's associated with a digital purchase or not. They consider zap button on a post = associated with the content even if the receiving user doesn’t know its from a post. okay…

I wonder if using the user profile photo as a shortcut to opening the zap menu would slide by their rules.

Maybe as long as there were other options too like "visit profile" and "send message" in a profile preview box? But at this point they are likely to double down on their take.
