I don't get the people who have visceral hate towards bitcoin. They roll their eyes at a mere mention of it.

They just hate money in general π
In my experience most of the people that do this know that bitcoin is coming after all the false understanding theyβve built of FIAT system.
Some people think all forms of money are evil.
It's a matter of education imo. They would roll their eyes at current national currency systems if they were informed of the history and weaknesses of them and conversely would likely appreciate bitcoin for the role that it will play as a sound alternative.
It's like Jehovah's witness. Most people are ok with God but find people knocking on they door annoying AF
everyone will "get" Bitcoin at the time that they deserve; it's a wonderful system
I bet most of them haven't even tried it and are just parroting what they heard on the news or from other people.
In a mirror universe someone's trying to convince you to abandon Bitcoin and use their new fiat, and they think you're mad for rolling your eyes.
It's because it makes them feel insecure, because they know it can't be controlled and they know they don't understand it, such things offend the sheep minded
