Chronological timeline is really interesting cause it causes things to come and go in waves, where as algorithm makes it seem like something always happening when nothing is

On Gossip I choiced 8 hours feed
one portrays reality, the other portrays a stimulation induced ideal
Chronological feels more like the normal ebb and flow of real life. Sometimes everyone’s doing something. Sometimes nothing much going on. I don’t mind the option of an algorithm when I want to see the feed through that lens, but I like chronological as the default.
I like chron... it kind of adds a sense of unity & really highlights the fact that humans are pack animals despite our denial of such. I get up stupid-early & its pretty fun to drink coffee & watch everyone on here who is in a relatively close time zone wake up & greet eachother.
