One of the best parts about nostr is the lack of real discoverability. I mean this seriously! when i follow someone I generally go through their follow list to 1) find awesome people and 2) learn about the type of people they get value from.
There is a real nuance to #nostr which takes time to become obvious.

Here, finding new people is a natural process built on trust and real value — not algorithms or ads. The result? Fewer but deeper connections, and an ecosystem where value is built bottom-up.

I love that there is no algorithm.. the playing field is level, I got so sick of X trying to make me pay just to be heard! On Nostr it doesn’t matter who you are, if you have something good to say, you get noticed. If you give value, you get value.. no playing the algo to please advertisers to get a small commission for farming engagement!
