I've never had a gun in my hand, ever. My neighbors either... No need. Never fired a single shot
Protection? That's a brainwash from gun manufacturers
Well, might because we have no army, and our currency does not depend on force , bombing and killing...
I respect ownership though, just saying that's not the only way to go π
Different view, here in the US. The 2nd Amendment is very important. An armed citizenry is key to a tyrannical government. Show me one moment in history where it was a GOOD thing that guns were banned. There isn't. A government that disarms its citizens is NOT in the business of keeping them safe.
I understand. I never said owning guns here is banned. We just choose to not have them.
And yes, our view is different, and that's awesome π
Right? Like are we actually having a *gasp* conversation? ππ€πΌ
To me the problem is not the right but the lack of responsibility. Too many people treat guns without respect, pulling them out as a first resort, not a last resort, and not keeping them away from children. Thatβs how we end up with road rage shootings and kids finding them and accidentally firing them off at home. Itβs a symptom of a diseased society that people allow this to happen.
Bingo. The over glamorization of guns (see movies, TV, songs, etc) has led to a large gap in the responsible ownership and use of firearms. I was raised to treat them with respect and to only use as a last resort for self defense. Couple that with 20+ years of military training in the use of, as well.
No one can convince me this is healthy for a population thatβs constantly being fed pharmaceuticals and propaganda.
Pure propaganda, right there. MK Ultra is real.
