When is the last time you fell asleep in the car?

Driving or as a passenger?
I was thinking passenger or just using the vehicle to sleep in. Sleeping while driving isn't recommended
I fell asleep at the wheel once driving from ny to Florida. The shoulder bumps woke me up thankfully. But I ended up swerving across all of the lanes on the highway, recorrected it so that I then went across the lanes again, went down into the grassy shoulder and settled the car there. My hands were shaking but I kept my cool thankfully because I consider myself a good driver. Sleep caught up to me then, and since I will never underestimate the power of the body wanting to sleep when it needs it. There were also no cars around thankfully which was amazing considering it was 2pm in the afternoon. Could have been a nascar kind of accident.
I've always wondered about this. did you have any warnjng at all or did you just turn off immediately? was it a "maybe I'll just close them for a second..." thing?
No it literally just snuck up on me and boom. It’s a powerful thing and I did not ever expect that it would get me
terrifying! I'm glad you were okay, we need you
Thanks man, probably the most frightening moment of my life tbh lol. I feel very fortunate to be okay (and my car)
Hopefully remembers you to take it more calm and rahter make a short brake make a nap and go on driving then.
Since no matter the hurry. Nothing is slower than never.
Take back what you said about Clojure
Probably when I was 7
In March on a long drive. We were chatting about this at work yesterday, trying to determining if there is a correlation with love of car sleeping as babies/children into adulthood. Whatever it is, some of us still find car rides the ultimate nap zone. Coincidence or lifelong habit?
