Life as a carnivore is so simple. No more decision fatigue in the grocery store, restaurant, or shopping street.

Humans are omnivores….

I loved as an omnivore for 30 years, as a herbivore for 5, now trying carnivory.

Life changing.

Of course in 20 years of eating a carnovire diet things might become a whole lot more complicated for your intestines & colon etc. Seems like a risky way to live to me but each to their own 👍

How do you define risk? Eating something humans literally evolved on for a million+ years, or eating processed foods invented in the last 70 years?

Where did I mention anything about eating processed foods? All I responded to was the carnivore diet. Humans haven't existed for a million+ years by eating meat exclusively. I think eating nothing but meat/animal products and no plants at all is probably a risk for your health but go ahead if you want to I don't care.

Look at the menu, see a steak and ask from to hold the fries, done.

Don’t you get tired of the same stuff over and over? I’m mostly carnivore based but like a bit of variety

I find it impossible to get tired of fatty meat. Every day it just feels like the most delicious thing I can eat. Granted, I fast all day, so I'm actually *hungry* when I eat

Doesn't sound healthy long term, but would be interesting for a week or so, then I would miss my brocolli.

I’ll do some blood tests soon

Please post your HDL and LDL when you have them available. People should know what they're getting into before jumping into a diet like this.

What will that do? Blood cholesterol is highly variable and the standard tests have almost no predictive value. E.g. If you start to lose weight, which many people do when switching from SAD to carnivore, will have increased LDL due to fat store mobilization. A 3 day interval in blood tests can show dramatically different results. And that's not mentioning that CVD has a substantial genetic factor.

Sometimes the easiest way is the most boring one.

How do you make this a permanent lifestyle and not spend all your cuckbucks on food? Genuinely curious.

Realize just how cheap fatty ground beef is. You can get by on one pound per day, if you have a job sitting down

How long have you been doing it? Any noticable changes to physical health etc?

About 4 months only beef & eggs. Most notable effects are constant energy (I’d get significant post meal crashes) and absence of irritable bowel syndrome. Also cured some skin conditions and it appears to have halted / seriously slowed down tooth decay.

Literally beef and eggs 3 meals a day? Interesting

Yeah indeed, though I usually only do 2 meals and don’t eat eggs every day.

Thank you Tuur, genuinely appreciate your opinion on things.

I started eating more meat and eggs less carbs no bread and worked out later I was gluten sensitive to the bread and then all food that contained gluten

Was carnivore for a year until I had issues with my heartbeat. Added fruit and honey back into the mix and feel great! Veggies and grains are the enemy

Eat some fiber to feed and keep your intestinal flora alive. Otherwise you'll go through hell when you eventually reintroduce fruits and vegetables to your diet again.

At least this was my experience.

How was it hellish? Pains?

No pain but I was bloated all the time for a few weeks.
