If you're suggesting that the electoral college would vote for another candidate than their states selection then say that.

You don't have to wonder about something I'm suggesting. My first reply is the point I'm making.
Did you even read the second paragraph of Article 2? It is written very plainly.
And since you mentioned it, most of the members of the Electoral College are allowed to vote for whomever they want. They are not the popular vote. Hillary got the popular vote, but that has never been how the President is elected. (If that even really happens any more).
Didn't California come close to losing an elector or two?
