I like that Nostr is just an open protocol.
It means that I can embed my Nostr posts on my personal website to use in a blog section.

Unfortunately, Nostr lacks many of the features my friends and family expect from a social media, so I don’t expect to see them on here.
Nostr’s shortcomings are of course just due to the decentralized nature of relays, which makes it basically impossible to add unlike functionality, stories that gets hidden after 24 hours, and stuff like that.
Not things I really care about, but the people I know personally, they absolutely care about these things.
