DIY painters: painter’s tape or a brush shield? Which do you use? #asknostr

Shield is new for me. After three houses and many rooms painted over the years, I’m liking the speed of the brush shield.

I use a piece of cardboard or a broad knife as a shield nothing fancy.

I have a long drywall taping knife. Seems to work really well. Need to keep wiping with a wet cloth to avoid bleeding.
