Who needs SQLite when you have indexedDB 🫠

agreed that would be amazing

There are web assembly implementations of SQLite … wondering how usable those are.

I have used sqlite wasm before and the implantation itself is pretty awesome. Its the wasm part that sucks

It seems like it would be super easy for browsers to support. Since you can already run it in wasm

I think every major browser already runs sqlite internally for under the hood stuff anyways. It’s already there, just needs to be exposed

I'm sure they do, but they don't pass that performance on to IndexedDB. Somehow they make indexeddb even slower than local storage

🙏

lmdb in the browser would be a game changer. much easier to build custom databases on top of lmdb.
