The city of Funchal derives its name from the Portuguese for Fennel, which grew abundantly there.
Thanks for the facts! Yeah I knew the fennel one but not the other. Who discovered Madeira? How widespread is Bitcoin in Funchal? Can you but lunch, coffee or beer with lightning for example?
