Do we have a water crisis?

My perception is yes… but that’s all based on the mainstream knowledge I acquired before getting into bitcoin.

So is this real or fiat propaganda?

Seems to be doing pretty well nowadays, Ava. Technology evolves, no need too worry too much.

both Yes and No, but mostly No

This answer helps me yes and no, but mostly no

😂

Distill water, add a pinch of Himalaya salt. Problem solved.

Surviving is easy. But we are not the only organism on Earth. We should respect other forms of life.

Sure, I'm not saying people don't do bad stuff to Earth. All I'm saying is that nowadays we have ways of pumping water out of thin air, desalinize sea water, etc.

There is a problem with water management, we could say, maybe a crisis in some places that do nothing to fix it, but, overall, water is the most abundant thing on the surface of Earth. No need to freak out.

That being said, I think that polluting aquifiers should be considered a crime worse than murder.

I would say if we do we can’t trust the pedos to tell us about it and the bigger problem we have is the pedos themselves

water crisis? never heard of that being a thing, crisis in what way?

Drinkable water getting depleted. People not having access to it and so on.

There was a time where people said there will be war on water. It’s the new liquid gold etc

hmm it's something i havent heard here in west Europe.. did you fr?

why would ppl not have any access to it anymore? depleted how?

overall, all water that is on earth stays on earth.. cycle of water.. so it depends on quality of water filtering systems and pumps.. and region.. how it's being moved and sourced

i am very curious tho what effect streets/roads have on the natural water cycle..

I think abundance of energy solves this problem. We shouldn't depend on natural sources of water, when we can desalinize, recycle, distill, and condense from air. All those actions require energy.

imo there is an energy crisis, not a water crisis. The energy crisis is easy to resolve, just let people like me, inventors, do their job without making their job impossible or disappearing them. Oh, and funding, people should fund research. I have solutions for the energy crisis, I just need financial resources.

Are you talking about pollutants or shortages?

Shortages - people not having access to water - drinkable water sources getting depleted etc

That would seem very location dependent. Where I am (PNW US) there is soooo much water and it’s of good quality too.

Your perception?

There are 326,000,000,000,000,000,000 gallons of water on Earth (roughly 1,260,000,000,000,000,000,000 liters).

It's been the same for millions of years.

The Moon has a water crisis, you could say. Not Earth.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0F7CQMd6mQ4

Yeah I read some stuff back in the days about it being the new liquid gold since it’s getting scarcer and scarcer.

I’ll look into the video thanks

Very much depends on where we are, but mostly no.

Fiat propaganda, chill out bro 💦

Go outside and touch grass.

OMG Shouldn’t we be worrying about the water crisis on the moon??

Maybr for anyone living inside big cities, where they are 100% dependent on water cleaning/supply by the nanny state, this can be a real problem if the socialism in place has a money management problem (which they all do).

But looking at the planet as a whole, as some mention, there is as much shortsge as there was millions of years ago: zero.

More water can always be obtained for the effort. Therefore, if someone says there's a water crisis, it's actually a lack of putting in the effort to obtain it.

no because desalination is scalable to all of our humanity's water needs

it's a matter of will, not resources
