What's actually going on here? Anything significant, or is it just inflation doing it's thing?
Political issues + el niño + expensive pesticides + expensive beans to plant + dry season + some big player financial shenanigans.
I heard about the correlation but I can figure out why.

If a chocolate bar has "45g" of cocoa in it according to the ingredients then how does relate to the above?
The above is raw cocoa somehow and what goes into the chocolate is processed, is it?
How much of the raw goes into 1kg of processed?
Then except 42cents increase per 100g bar. But I would say that it might be even more as everyone in the chain will still want to keep their relative margin, so maybe it will be even more increase.
Does it mean that chocolate will be even more expensive?
