dont know about this place and trophy hunting not my bag but I do know that instead of culling with park staff an rangers they sell the kill rights to hunters. That is how they fund some pretty large parks that had no prior funding and doesnt seem like more animals dying.
From standpoint of hunter. . . we are primates. Some of us get a kick out of killing stuff.

Yeah, I was never that bothered by this. It seems like the populations of most of these trophy animals are being managed with conservation in mind. In the US, lots of game animals' populations have stabilized largely through the efforts of hunting organizations who want to preserve population for posterity. Likewise, these trophy animals will always attract trophy hunters, the profit motive is to keep that cash coming, not kill it all off.
A noble being killed by a parasite who made it's way in with the help of a bullet.
Don’t love it but the hunters pay big $$$ and that helps protect the remaining animals. People that find this sad should pitch in if they want to see the practice go away.
