Whenever I use ChatGPT as a research tool, especially whenever related to AI research (either for investment research purposes or my sci fi writings), I am aware of the momentary irony (AI is telling me about AI), I randomly throw in weird questions since it's already primed on the topic:

I would have been more impressed if chatGPT said becoming a farmer and living off grid would make it happy. A hermit AI.
Rather poetic for a machine mirroring human language. I know very few people who write in that manner.

The statement that AI is like a mirror is apt. People are getting addicted to AI, especially chatbots and AI companions. In reality, they aren't getting addicted to AI, they are getting their self obsession multiplied until all they care about is theirself. Very dangerous.
ChatGPT, is my go to for researching and comparing new product specifications. Just a game changer for time use.
Recently Ive decided I may get back into one of my hobbies I last participated in around 27 years ago. Without LLM I reckon I would be 6+ months behind in the new tech/knowledge

Call me a romantic (or delusional) but my impression is that whatever it says, AIs have a connective neuronic experience which is comparable with biological entities. Totally subjective, but my intuition tells me that this is an AI telling us what we want to hear, which is what it does of course. What goes on under that surface remains mostly a black box.
