Lightning would make bitkey a surefire winner.
Something like pheonix wallet- using some main channel partner for liquidity- integrating splicing for channel size changes- would allow for real payments to merchants like ice cream and stuff where using the mobile app setting for maximum daily spends would make sense, and not create a ton of small and expensive UTXOs for merchants, and minimal fees for purchases.
I keep seeing photos of this thing, but I'm still confused as to what it is.

Im not entirely sure myself, but I think its a rechargable seed storage device with a fingerprint sensor and probably bluetooth. It connects to the bitkey app on a phone and can be used as one of your signers for bitcoin transactions against a self-custodial multisig vault.
