The socialists and Marxists in power have discovered why not both..

Honestly? It is to condition us that taxes should be an expected thing... It is less about monetary representation than it is subservience.

To burn what you print

🤔

Cause US economy is a debt base and been that way since the founding of the Federal Reserve. It only has "value" as long as we the people say it has value.

The Federal Reserve is technically self govern and only has to report to congress when necessary. It only prints money base on a ratio to keep the value of the dollar stable. Taxes are mainly used to fund Government Spending. So in a sense, they are separate entities.

But going back to my first point, it only has value cause we the people say it has value. It doesn't have any physical reserve to back it up its value. The government does have Assets in gold through the US Treasury which I guess is separate from the Federal reserve assets.

Our US Economy is weird.

It's all about control. It is a lever that can be used to manipulate people

Taxes are the only thing that gives value to fiat currency.
