mornings, a very ligh brush to get rid of morning yuck mouth
I don't floss or brush after every meal. Too much can harm the gums. I use mouthwash during the day if I am going out after eating.
* gingivitis happens from food in-between the teeth. brushing doesn't get rid of it. It rots and feeds bacteria. yuck!
* I went from 3+ cleanings a year and gum bleeds to only seeing the dentist 2x a year, never gum bleeds, and probably could go to 1x this way but I like getting my teeth cleaned
* I picked up these habits through my own experimentation and confirming with my dentist
brush 2x
floss 1x
semi annual cleanings
