White clay

in this order every night before bed

1 - floss with silk fibre floss

2 - mouthwash, non-alcohol

3 - very light brushing with a soft brush along the margins of the gums with natural non-fluoride toothpaste (made in #Canada)

mornings, a very ligh brush to get rid of morning yuck mouth

I don't floss or brush after every meal. Too much can harm the gums. I use mouthwash during the day if I am going out after eating.

* gingivitis happens from food in-between the teeth. brushing doesn't get rid of it. It rots and feeds bacteria. yuck!

* I went from 3+ cleanings a year and gum bleeds to only seeing the dentist 2x a year, never gum bleeds, and probably could go to 1x this way but I like getting my teeth cleaned

* I picked up these habits through my own experimentation and confirming with my dentist

brush 2x

floss 1x

semi annual cleanings

can't outpace the coffee though...

>_<

Twice a day:

Brush with soft bristles, make sure to brush gently and actually brush for two minutes.

Use wide dental floss or ā€œdental tapeā€ to make sure to get out anything between teeth.

Every six months:

Go to the dentist for a professional cleaning.
