In terms of development planning

Do you think that the largest group on #Nostr consists of tech-savvy users, and that other categories are still relatively small in number?

Absolutely.

In your opinion, what are the possible solutions to attract people with different interests to our communit( #nostr ), especially since we are still in the early stages?

Hm, from marketing pov there's necessary shift from proof of work towards attracting sheep and doing more for them to onboard easily. Because in the end, most money will be brought by vast numbers of users. Primal grasps that concept pretty well I'd say.

On the other hand, as you say, we're still early. How Nostr will look to be actually successful and able to feed it's devs still remains a mystery to me, because it's celebrities and shitposters who actually generate some income, not the people doing actual work hereπŸ˜„

Let's concentrate on feelings Nostr evokes in non users.

1) Do they even know?

2) If they know, what emotion strikes first?

3) What emotion do we even want them to feel? And strategy towards that.

4) Nostr has a ton of adjoined apps and for a user is all that absolute noise, there's high need of interoperability, vibecoding shitton of microapps is just a playground for devs to a user.

How do we work this into efficient model of sustaining good devs, because that voluntarist idea is nice, but not sustainable at all.

Main catch is to apply some centralized strategies onto decentralized protocol. It's like being given a filled ZOO, but without cages.

This could honestly be a long meeting instead of an email.πŸ˜†

Oh, powerful words indeed.

But according to Nostr's statistics, between 200 to 600 new public keys are created daily. It may seem like a modest number, but in the long run, it will hold real value. Truly, discussing this topic could go on and on , no one can sum it up in a line or two.

We're simply waiting for a revolution against centralized platforms , and when that happens, #Nostr will be the alternative.

Revolution against wut be nice, but Nostr has to be prepared for it. And the one who catches the wave will be winning. People don't use Nostr, they use Amethyst, Damus, Primal. And they will share the app to friends.

Then a question raises, who cares about those new incomers, where are they? Are they all offered introduction etc? Some mutual hashtag should be used on all clients altogether for first note, there's introductions and helloworld, what else?

It seems we're getting very close to that revolution , but you're absolutely right, Your Majesty the Queen πŸ˜„ , whoever catches the wave at the right moment will be the true winner.

I believe it has to be something bigger than just using a hashtag. There needs to be a real breakthrough in some part of Nostr. This is an opportunity that might never come again, and it must be seized.

Interesting. It occured to me too. I wouldn't count on any deus ex machina, simply because I'm hard pessimist on doing business (translate to "rarely shocked by the outcome".)

Imho devs could use some marketing applied on their work. I've been saying it recently, the sales are not dirty word, it's absolutely necessary to create a layer of fluff between a creator and his buyers. Otherwise they'll go nuts, it's not their job to deal with all that numbers/adverts/client care crap around the core value.

The future will be better, but on one condition: the, adoption and support ,both technical and financial ,of everything new and unique on #Nostr

We've reached the point of no return , it's now a matter of being or not being

This is when social responsibility is at its peak. Everyone within this protocol fully understands that this is the most suitable place for privacy and social justice

It’s everyone’s duty to help convey this idea to other communities.
