Spent my day studying herbs and figuring out which herbs I want to use to make a focus and calming tea for my ADHD. Now tomorrow I'll probably see about actually starting to mix a blend and see how well it works for myself and my husband.

Also started some more herbs, played with the dogs, inventoried my herbs and learned that wormwood is used to make absinthe, I don't even drink but for some reason my ADHD needed to follow that tangent.

Keep us updated on wormwood stuff it grows great here in the south

Hopefully it'll like our dry weather in the high desert!

Rosemary is also a great mental focus herb. I love my holy basil tea

Yup, love rosemary!

Looking into creative Ng a medicinal herb garden. What are your recommendations?

Well, Holy Basil is a good one to start with! But also some other good ones are basil, chamomile, calendula, Comfrey, mint, Echinacea, Lavender, lemon balm, rosemary, sage, and yarrow.

All that said though it really depends on what your goals are, where you're growing and why you're growing something. I have probably about a hundred different herbs I will be growing, but my goals are a working apothecary and selling quality herbs. Also you want to look at what health conditions you/ your family have and what prescriptions you maybe taking when considering any herbs.

Got all of that except the calendula. Now I just have to figure out how to use it!

Good Luck! I will say that books tend to be better than the internet for research. Unless the internet is something like Learning Herbs or Herbal Academy's membership.
