I think we have already become jaded with what the internet is, and we forget just what a revolutionary thing it is, and why so many of the things we despise or try to act as if we are "above it" are crucial elements to the entire reason why we are here. This is ALL about connecting people. The goal isn't to remove that, or evolve beyond it, its about regaining OUR control over the reigns of our connections, what we see, who we talk to, and what we say.
An incredible technology of connection,
has become a technology of control,
and we need to redesign it as a technology of freedom.
