I wrote a post here on #Nostr many many months (probably a year?) ago, but I cannot find it anymore scrolling back my notes history. Indeed i can't see any post of mine older than 6 months or so! Why? WTF? Don't #relays store them any longer?

i think it depends on the relay you wrote the note to.
some relays delete old content.

i've also noticed that different notes appear on my profile depending upon which client i'm using.
you could try different clients and see if it pops up there.
also, if you remember the words that you used, you can try and search for it using this:

I tired scrolling all the way down for a long time using Amethyst but for some reason it wouldn't fetch more then 1 year even tho I used paid relays and run my own local relay which stores my notes from the beginning.
The site you linked is useful. I used the date range to find my first post, didn't even need to use keywords. thanks fren

Depends on the relays policy.
You need to run your own relay to ensure your notes are propagated over time
The free relays like to purge their relays every so often because they allow anyone to connect on their relays so they get tons of spammers and it fills up their HD really fast. Stick to at least one paid relay or run your own relay.
