There are those that think Bitcoin needs marketing and promotion so people will adopt it. Unsurprisingly, these are generally marketers and promoters. They start promoting altcoins when they realize Bitcoin doesn't need them.
Then there are those that believe Bitcoin is the best money and that it's adoption is inevitable and prepare accordingly.
These people should market and promote #Bitcoin !
yeappp! I think when people come across Bitcoin they're so amazed at what it does and what the future holds so they want to contribute and help it along.
Bitcoin doesn't need us to promote it. Bitcoin promotes us to live our lives, do our work and contribute value to the world.

This was nearly my verbatim reaction in my brain listening to the Svetski episode of WBD this weekend.
Pete seems to think that Bitcoiners are the barrier to more adoption. If only someone would train them - then more shallow people looking for a good investment could get on board.

Funny I had the same thoughts. Bitcoin doesn’t care what kind of bitcoiners we are.
The amount of grassroots adoption of Bitcoin prior to the repture candle will have an impact on the distribution for decades so I think there's good reason to educate the masses about Bitcoin. The greater the adoption the less public backlash Bitcoin will experience...but yes, in the end the result will be the same.
