everyone want privacy , but privacy is expensive , most services demand you to subscribe for privacy and that is where people like open source alias for free . there is one thing demanding privacy there is another thing doesn't want to pay for it . it has nothing to do with sword BOB

Probably even when they enact this chatcontrol, independent statistics would quickly show how little effect it has on criminals.
Since proffessional crime has the ressources to adopt to independent systems. They do not need to use the same chat app for all their friends and criminal activity.
It is very quickly only the individuals, which do not have the resources to adapt to these backdoor threats due to networkeffects and convenience.

UK is done as Apple disabled ADP for new users so government could spy. Some countries in Europe have it but not all for now.
i’m ditching the iphone regardless
