So often, people are careful walking to their car, then they stretch and twist while cleaning it and fall. I ended up halfway beneath my car years ago when I flung open the driver's side door and my feet went out from beneath me. How dignified. 🤣

I do my best to be careful the entire time! But you never know when a bit of ice will slide underneath your feet.

Just over a week ago, like a not-so-smart person, I absently kicked a chunk of ice on my walk.

It didn't move.

Down I went. I was so angry that I got up and kicked that that piece of ice until it broke free. I still have bruises down my left leg. 😆
