Whats better than voluntary exchange of goods and services?
Discussion
nothing worng with that. what results from it is wrong: power, abuse and inequality
Thats because „voluntary exchange of goods and services“ is not actually definitional of capitalism and can also be found in mutualism, market socialism, voluntaryism, etc.
What‘s definitional of capitalism are rent and wage labor. Defining capitalism as free markets is nothing but the greatest history revision of our time.
read the history and you'll learn that the term was originally coined as a perjorative from ruling class against those landed gentry who decided to try out this factory production thing which employed and provided necessary goods for the poor people
it's like african americans use of nigger... it was originally an insult to deride those who dared to not use slavery on people
rent is just a variant of taxation, also, from the Lord to the Serfs, which makes it a feudal thing not a market thing, though at the same time, paying for use of stuff is a market thing, it's just this um... you know, flooding the market with cheap loans for housing leads to house prices going up. duh.
again, and this is mercantilism, the legacy of the bankster oligarchy that still plagues us
also, not capitalism, capitalism is the insult against people saving money to invest in business, that's why they call stacked resources "capital"
and no it has nothing to do with government administrative centers, that's from the roman Capitoline where... none other than the Temple of Satan, i mean Saturn is found
It’s hard to follow your thoughts from Serf to Saturn, but what I read is you agree that stacked resources lead to power, which inevetably leads to abuse, thus inequality… right?
rent and wage labor can also be found in socialism, market socialism, …
What are those? Do any of those restrict what consenting adults are allowed to keep and trade?
I don't know how you could consider it power "abuse" if the power is voluntarally given. Sounds like power "use" to me, which has nothing to do with the voluntary exchange of goods and services. Also equality is unfair. We need to allow inequality in order for things to be fair.
