One thing that came out of the dinner… we realized we need the equivalent of the Splitwise app to easily split a check and spin up lightning invoices to settle-up shared charges.

Once you figure out who owes who, you settle up by paying a lightning invoice.
This is a good idea. What we've done in the past at other conferences is have one person pay and then others just send them their portion. I guess an app to automatically do this for you would be helpful or at least make it easier for very large groups.
Yea, check out Splitwise. One of my favorite apps. Makes group dinners and family vacations so much easier, but needs lightning integration!
