šŸ’„ NEW EPISODE: 8 Kids, 1 Bus, No Fear

My guests today on nostr:nprofile1qqsdcz7puq6jv9ahh58h26zxl5gwl7xks548ck48uyfmsx0kzlfl3rcfrx0pj are JD & Britney, the couple behind ā€œAmerican Family Road Trip,ā€ a faith-led family of ten who’ve been living full-time on the road since 2018. After trading their 7,000-square-foot home for a self-renovated bus, they’ve embraced a life of radical simplicity, homeschooling, and Bitcoin. Along the way, they’ve built a community of over 670K followers inspired by their values-first approach to parenting and freedom.

We discussed:

• Why they left behind suburban comfort to invest in faith, family, and freedom

• Road schooling, resilience, and raising kids without smartphones

• How Bitcoin fits their values of sovereignty, legacy, and intentional living

• JD’s health crisis, rediscovering purpose, and building SatSaver for self-custody

• The importance of giving kids tools—not baggage—for the future

I am halfway in and I am loving it! Time is the real unit of wealth, & thus should be invested wisely

Enjoy šŸ¤œāš”šŸ¤› I'll give it a listen as well

Will share my thoughts after I am done with the whole thing but from what I am hearing so far? You will love it 😁

I really enjoyed the topic—such a cool guests šŸ’•šŸ‘ Brave and smart to embrace this lifestyle. The perfect example of how material things, often pushed by societal norms (like a huge house or excessive possessions), can actually hold us back rather than bring happiness. They clearly understood that and have chosen to live their lives instead of being slaves to the system šŸ¤œāš”šŸ¤› Some of the lines that stood out to me: 'The real currency of life is relationships' + their perspective on giving kids tools instead of baggage—focusing on building character and values over superficial achievements. Loooove it!!! All in all, a fantastic episode. Congrats nostr:nprofile1qqsx5dvc2g3cmjgz4mgelwlk5p2ln2ljrsw23y2ar38z0agd7tefpkgpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqzrthwden5te0dehhxtnvdakqzyrhwden5te0dehhxarj9emkjmn9cmd8cc. And THANKS a lot nostr:nprofile1qqs9gcysfq5y62s4rjxlvf05psuf6s376ptlemuj0kugj4kj3c3t5qcpp3mhxue69uhkyunz9e5k7qg4waehxw309ajkgetw9ehx7um5wghxcctwvsqs6amnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0ds4c3nyv šŸ«‚ I knew from the start that if you liked it, I would too šŸ™ƒ

You can say that again Miss Waterfall! It was indeed a fantastic episode and character building + values over superficial checkbox achievements really hit home for me as that was the world I grew up in to a certain extent. The other bit that stood out for me was the choice of freedom vs security; each of these requires a different set of beliefs and behaviours. I even appreciated Efrat’s personal testimony of what living in a security conscious environment is like. That really hit home for me especially as I pondered on the fact that for those in Israel right now, they didn’t choose those circumstances but that’s their current reality. The hoaxvid-19 Psyop also promised security and safety but robbed folks of their freedom.

100% 🧔 Indeed, actually real security isn’t given but built by those who truly value freedom

Let me know what you thought!
