The intersection between religion and bitcoin confuses me sometimes for this reason.

Religions tend to have rules against usury, false weights and measures, and counterfeiting, so hard money is preferred. And we like philosophizing about economic incentives and stuff.
Not so much just the use of it, that makes sense, especially when considering the core elements but the extent some make money the core of their identity, that seems like it could anger the gods.
